*After finding the pencil from deep beneath Skips sofa cushion so he could write a message. Mordecai was turning to walk away, but he then slammed his shin into the coffee table. This caused Mordecai to loose his balance and as a result, the hand holding the pencil swiped across his other hand. Eraser side down. The loss of his hand had caused Mordecai's weight to dramatically shift backward. He then hit his head on the side table beside the sofa.

After half an hour Mordecai regained consciousness. He attempted to rub his head with his right hand... He tried again... Then a few more times. He then looked at his hand, to his great surprise it was missing! He started to freak out, but then he noticed that the coffee table was sliced in two. On further investigation, he found the pencil sitting on the floor at a 45 degree angle. Eraser stuck in the concrete floor of the garage. Connecting two and two, he then decided to test the Pencil. The first thing he did was patch the table by drawing tape around the seam. Experimenting some more, he drew a rather crude looking squid. Witch then jumped off the paper and started yelling obscenity's and angrily shaking it's fist in the air as it ran out of the building.

After a few more trials, he then decided to redraw his missing hand.*
